Promoted by CII, Young Indians (“Yi”), is a group consisting of Young Indian entrepreneurs, owner-managers and professionals from various walks of life, with the broad objectives of creating a better future for the Indian youth of today as well as create leaders for the India of tomorrow.

One of the most active focus areas within CII’s Young Indians is the Youth Affairs vertical where Yi members engage students from across the country in various initiatives that the students conceptualize, plan and execute. The objective of the Youth Affairs program is to create a bridge, a platform for the students to work in cross functional teams with a broad objective of giving back to the nation. In the process, the students work in leadership roles while operational zing projects that are based on self development, skill building, community development and nation building.

Yi Nets is an initiative of Yi, with a vision to influence, inspire and motivate millions of students across the country. Yi Net envisions connecting students to the community, the country and at large, working towards a movement for “Nation Building”. Yi Net has currently over 3000 students from 35 educational institutional across the country.
